T-Shirt Cannon

Peacekeeper is our t-shirt cannon, often used for shooting t-shirts or confetti during high school sporting events, and occasionally candy for parades. We started making Peacekeeper in 2011 and every year we challenge students to improve its design during the off season. We're often doing something to Peacekeeper, whether it is adding a piece or adjusting the pressure. The advantage of this robot is that it helps us to train new students in the process of creating and designing a robot while also providing them with the experience and confidence that will be necessary during the build season. This introduces students to the design process we use and gives them skills that prove invaluable while preparing for the competition.
