Today marks the end of our second week of build season. The team has been working diligently these last seven days to prepare ourselves for competition. After receiving our new Falcon motors, we replaced the Neos in our swerve drive to make it more powerful. We researched the best way to wire our new encoders and implemented adaptors for the swerve drive, allowing us to accurately identify where the wheels are positioned. After this, the programmers worked on a new version of swerve drive using the new encoders. Throughout the week, the design team has been prototyping an intake system for the cargo game pieces. They also got busy designing our climber using CAD. Our build team worked on prototyping how to make corners for the axis, so we can run three intakes on a single motor. But throughout the week, evey team was showing around and training new members who’ve wandered during the days.
